Ambassadors, private sector leaders and development partners met during the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2017 to discuss acceleration of universal health care coverage in Kenya.
During the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2017 the Government’s of Kenya and the Netherlands together with the UN in Kenya hosted a high-level meeting on partnerships. The main topic on the agenda was how to accelerate progress towards universal health care to improve the health and well-being of all Kenyans.
During the meeting, the Private Sector Health Partnership Kenya was highlighted as a lesson to build one in this ambitious pursuit.
Dr Stephen Karau, Kenya’s Permanent Representative to the UN participated in the meeting Kenya. He reiterated the commitment of the government for Kenya to lead the way in achieving universal health coverage in Africa,
